gMol is an interactive visualization system used to display and manipulate 3-dimensional models of scientific data, such as molecular structures and surfaces. It contains both OpenGL and web browser widgets that enable flexible user interfaces.

- Display models from PDB, MOL and other file formats supported by OpenBabel
- Display models you create from points, lines and shaded polygons
- Animate models Interactively and with scripted animations using gramps
- Use GUI panels you create from HTML and Javascript
- Save program state and restore using single database (sqlite3) file
