System Center Application Monitor (or SCAM) is a client based tool designed to alert your users to new applications which are available in the Application Catalog. Currently a user will have to visit the catalog to see if a new application is available even if they have requested it.

This tools allows a bubble to be shown to notify the users that a new application is available. Clicking the bubble will launch the catalog so the user can browse it at their leisure.

Features

  • Notification area alerting
  • No additional server requirements
