Rymdport is a free, open-source file sharing application designed for securely transferring content between devices. Formerly known as wormhole-gui, it uses the Magic Wormhole protocol to exchange files, folders, and text. All transfers use end-to-end encryption to protect shared information during transmission. The software supports communication with other compatible Magic Wormhole clients. Its graphical interface simplifies sending and receiving content without configuring traditional file sharing services. Built with Go and the Fyne toolkit, it compiles into a native application without additional runtime dependencies. Available for Windows, macOS, Linux, and FreeBSD, Rymdport offers a lightweight alternative for encrypted transfers between computers.
