RTranslator

RTranslator is a free, open-source Android application designed for real-time multilingual communication through locally running artificial intelligence. It translates conversations without requiring continuous internet access after the necessary models are downloaded. The application combines speech recognition, neural machine translation, and text-to-speech synthesis. Its Conversation mode connects multiple smartphones to translate speech between participants in their preferred languages. WalkieTalkie mode enables two people to communicate using a single phone with automatic language detection. RTranslator also provides conventional text translation and Bluetooth headset integration. Using models such as Whisper and locally executed translation engines, it emphasizes privacy and offline accessibility for international communication.
