RotorCrypt X is a free offline hybrid encryption software for Windows 10/11.
Six cryptographic layers:
Enigma rotor cipher (up to 50 rotors, 65,536 Unicode characters)
AES-256-GCM military-grade authenticated encryption
HKDF-SHA3-256 key derivation with Perfect Forward Secrecy
Argon2id password hardening (64 MB RAM, 1,000+ years brute-force time)
Split Key: each side generates a unique 256-bit random ID — neither alone can compute the shared key (ECDH Curve25519)
Forward Secrecy²: contact ID is permanently deleted after handshake — past messages stay protected even if all files are later stolen
Quantum-resistant with 2^768 key space. No cloud. No server. No internet required. Portable from USB stick, no installation needed.
Security: one-time handshake, replay protection, anti-debug detection, key destruction on tampering.
