What is Redalien OS?

Redalien OS is based on MX Linux, so indirectly it is a Debian-based 
distribution.
It comes with the same stability and performance found in MX and 
Debian. Redalien OS works on lightweight systems, but it is 
recommended to install it on a midweight system for a flawless 
experience.

What is the aim of Redalien OS?

The main aim of Redalien OS is to provide a flawless experience and 
being easy to use. It has a windows-styled user interface and the 
apps included in it are great alternatives to proprietary software. It 
is also best suited for gamers. 
Steam, Lutris and all wine libraries come pre installed in Redalien 
OS, making it the best OS which is stable for gamers "out of the 
box".
Other than gaming, Redalien OS is also suitable for home users who 
generally use their computers for basic purposes like surfing the 
web, watching movies, listening to music, basic photo editing as well 
as video editing.

For content creation, you get OBS Studio to record desktop screen 
or stream gaming content, KDEnlive for video editing, Audacity for 
Audio recording and editing.
Gimp and Full Libreoffice Suite are also pre-installed.

First things to do after installing Redalien OS:

Check for updates:
sudo apt update

If updates available, upgrade your system:
sudo apt upgrade
