This was a project for developing RemoveBrokenLinks plugin for Tomboy note-taking application (http://projects.gnome.org/tomboy)

Now this is a part of Tomboy - go to Preferences->Add-ins->Tools and enable the RemoveBrokenLinks add-in to get this functionality.
