Luminance HDR is a complete suite for HDR imaging workflow. It provides a wide range of functionalities, during both the fusion stage and the tonemapping stage. Its graphical user interface, based on Qt5, runs on a variety of platforms, such as Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X 10.9 and later and several Unix flavors (Linux, FreeBSD and others).
Input images can be supplied in multiple formats, from JPEG to RAW files. In the same way, output can be saved in many different formats as well, from JPEG to TIFF (both 8 bit and 16 bit per channel), enabling all the power of your post processing tools.

It's been a complete nightmare trying to get latest version installed on linux (easypeasy [ubuntu 10.04]) After 2 hours of finding what dependencies I need I still get errors when building. Great.

You should run through the interface ten million times when will start to understand what is made for what in this tool! You will hardly understand what exact purpose this soft by the face design... title windows can help but the better help will be other 10 million bugs of all kinds.

New interface is all wrang. No tille windows, no rmb grabing, useless side bar, no tonemaping tags on tabs (Untitled{1,2,3} such names are preaty meaningless) I use it ocasionaly only for new mantiuk08.

I'm totally disappointed! Version 2.0 for Windows is not open source! It is only possible to buy it for 15€! It should not be called "Open Source", unless it will be released as a really "free" software!
