I found this python script very usefull. I am trying to use it to push data to the 123solar software. No idea if I would be successfully... but I try. The changed code and reports can be find in the 123solar google group (sorry links are not allowed here in the comments fields)

Thank you, it's working. I like it that I now get all datas from the Kostal-Piko solar inverter. The only problem is, that it doesn't work with an RS485 address != 255. How can I fix this? I have 2 inverters installed, therefore RS485 address 1 and 2.
