  • Disappointing. Probably okay for some things, but for basic text editing it's brain dead. I wanted to change a typo like "15th, 2016." to "5th,2016." It easily selected the 1, deleted it (once I figured out how). It moved the 5 over, but not the rest of the line, so there was a space before "th". I couldn't select the space to delete it, couldn't select the whole phrase to replace it. (That resulted in selecting the whole line.) Sorry, as a "PDF word processor," which is all I need, this isn't ready for prime time. I've given it 2 stars because presumably it does other tasks you might want. But beware, it crashed once. And and saving to a new name is not the usual Windows procedure. There is no Undo, so save to another name, frequently.

  • Its a great idea, but runs bad on my Windows 8.1 x64. I ran into the following Problems: - PDFEdit crashes sometimes, wile browsing for the File to open, or when you click on open. - PDFEdit crashes sometimes while saving Changes. - There is no undo Button - There is no function to adjust inserted Text (if the textsize was wrong, or does not fit the right place, you have to reload and re-edit the whole document) - After one hour i finally managed to insert two lines of Text at the right position. But after saving it, the file was corrupt. If there were no crashes, and corrupted output files, it would be a great tool. Edit: I was able to open the saved Files with PDFEdit again, but that did not help. Adobe Acrobat can not open the file. Edit2: I was also able to open the saved PDF Files with PDF Architect. After saving in inside PDF Architekt to a new file, i can now also open the Files with Adobe Reader. Strange
