FreeWRL is an Open Source, cross platform VRML2 and X3D compliant browser, with script, SAI and EAI support. Platforms supported: Linux and other Unix-style platforms; Mac OS/X; Windows. Support for mobile platforms (iOS, Android, QNX) is under development.

Free editor for PDF documents. Complete editing of PDF documents is possible with PDFedit. You can change raw pdf objects (for advanced users) or use many gui functions. Functionality can be easily extended using a scripting language (ECMAScript).

Orphne is a highly specialized web browser, optimized for viewing "adult" content. Features include tagging, rating, and bookmarking sites, an integrated search, and slide shows. Please note that orphne is intended for adults only.

JSmol is the extension of the Java-based molecular visualization applet Jmol (jmol.sourceforge.net) as an HTML5 JavaScript-only web app. It can be used in conjunction with the Java applet to provide an alternative to Java when the platform does not support that (iPhone/iPad) or does not support applets (Android). Used in conjunction with the Jmol JavaScript Object (http://wiki.jmol.org/index.php/Jmol_Javascript_Object), JSmol seamlessly offers alternatives to Java on these non-Applet platforms. JSmol can read all the files that Jmol reads. You can do all the scripting that Jmol does. You can create all the buttons and links and such that you are used to creating for Jmol. All of the rendering capability of the Jmol applet is there. JSmol has both a console and a popup menu. JSmol is integrated fully with JSME and JSpecView. A PHP/Harmoni digital asset management tool, Concerto allows the cataloguing of multimedia in DublinCore, VRA, and user-defined schemes. Media can be searched across schemes, put into annotated slideshows, or used in other programs such as Segue2.

The GUIDOLib provides a powerful engine for the graphic rendering of music scores, based on the Guido Music Notation format. It supports Linux, Mac OS X, Windows, Android and iOS operating systems. Deep Photos Explorer (DPE) is a local photo browser and viewer running directly in your web browser. It reads your images from existing folders without importing or reorganizing anything, and runs on a lightweight local server such as XAMPP or LAMP. DPE offers fast browsing across your folders as they exist on disk. The browser includes favorites filtering, batch rename by folder, tag assignment, and rectangular multi‑selection for tagging multiple photos. The tag‑based search dialog lets you search by one or more tags, globally or from the current folder, with an optional “favorites only” filter. The viewer provides instant display with real‑time resizing and an information panel showing filename, date, resolution and EXIF details. Tags and favorites can be added directly from the viewer. DPE supports multiple Photo Spaces to separate collections across disks or themes. A protected web mode is also built‑in. A full Windows installer version is available on our website.

phpMyExpo is a script which allow you to build a modular dynamic internet website in order to display pictures in three hierarchy levels : themes, pages and modules. An administration page also permits to modify the global aspect of the website.

Avicenna is an application for visualizing location data stored in excel or .csv table files on a map or in a table view. It provides several export functions (such as single pictures, database dumps and even a HTML-export that enables you to use Avicenna on your website). It was developed as part of the course "Techniken der Projektentwicklung" in summer semester 2012 at the University of Bielefeld by Team 2 and is licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License version 3. This project is finished and other developers should be able to use Avicennas features for their own visualization projects without having too much trouble. We provide an installation/building tutorial as well as the complete sourcecode and necessary databases.
