Orkas

Orkas is an open-source, local-first desktop application that coordinates specialized AI agents to complete complex projects and recurring tasks. Its Commander agent translates user goals into actionable plans and delegates work to 16 built-in specialists. These agents handle research, software development, SEO analysis, content writing, multimedia production, and document creation. The platform also integrates with Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, OpenClaw, and Hermes-Agent. Persistent project workspaces store files, instructions, memories, and progress across conversations. Users can assign tasks, review completed work, and automate recurring activities through configurable schedules. Orkas supports multiple AI providers and local model endpoints. It runs on Windows and macOS.
