LinkTrade Monitor watches both sides of a link exchange from inside your own WordPress installation.

It checks on a schedule whether the partner link is still there, whether it quietly changed to rel="nofollow", whether the page now redirects and whether it still answers with HTTP 200. When something changes you get an alert, so you find out on the day it happens instead of months later.

A link exchange is easy to agree and easy to forget. A partner redesigns, a page moves behind a redirect, a plugin update adds a nofollow attribute, and none of that produces a message. Checking by hand works for five partners and stops working at twenty.

Everything runs in your own WordPress. No monthly fee, no external service, no data leaving your server. The free version on WordPress.org covers the monitoring; the Pro version adds hourly checks, full change history and alerts by e-mail, webhook or Slack.

Requires WordPress 6.0 or newer and PHP 7.4 or newer. GPLv2 or later.
