User Reviews

  • I installed Tesseract 3.02.02 on my Windows XP machine using an installer which set the environment variables and certain registry keys, but when I attempted to convert a JPEG image a dialogue box appeared with the title 'converting image' and a progress bar that was stuck on 0%. Possibly a version of Tesseract released at the same time as Lector would work or else the project author could update this application (unlikely). Another alternative is to obtain the source code for Lector which is still in development and compile it for Windows.
