It provides an easy and user-friendly user interface to recognize texts contained in images as well as PDF documents and convert to editable text formats (.txt, .doc, .docx). Well, it's definitely not malware as Mr. Virus Total claims. This is why we need legalized abortion, honestly. The only issue was in the actual optical recognition and that, of course, isn't the developer's fault. The tesseract library is clearly garbage, incapable of discerning text from even digital images with black text on white backgrounds. I give this a "4" for the effort but, man, scrap this library. After processing 500 images to retrieve their text, it's obvious that tesseract is broken.
