User Reviews

  • I had the same problem someone else reported, that I had to change the access permissions to the KeePass folder so that it could save its settings. Once I'd done that it worked okay. It has one limitation which stops me from using it in the way I want. There's a way of making passwords called Diceware (google it) and I want to use WordSequence to get KeePass to make Diceware passwords. Diceware involves randomly choosing words from a list of 7776 short words. (7776 = 6 to the power 5, so you can choose a word at random by rolling 5 dice.) The problem is that there seems to be a limit in WordSequence of 5205 words. Whenever I try to put more in it won't let me. If the author could raise this limit it would make me very happy. Perhaps a diceware wordlist could come as the default word list as well? Also, being able to choose a separator to put between the words would be nice.
  • Worked OK for me (Keepass 2.23) but I had to grant Write permission to group 'Users' for the Keepass folder (Windows 7).
  • Doesn't work with the latest version of KeePass (2.19)
