KLV-Spectr is one branch of the Kennel Linux (KLV) project — a family of Void Linux respins built by regulars on the Puppy Linux forum. Its sibling, KLV-Airedale, runs a conventional XFCE desktop; Spectr swaps that for spectrwm, aimed at people who already know they'd rather tile than drag. The desktop layer and theming is maintained by Sofiya, with the spectrwm keybinding set built out by geo_c, and releases packaged by rockedge using the FirstRib build system.
Features
- Spectrwm tiling window manager
- Modular kernel components easily swappable
- Frugal install, layered file system
- can use compressed or decompressed system directories
