A perfect sync contact application I have ever used.

Great Product BUT..... clearly the code is now unsupported. No response from the developers since the end of 2016. It stopped working a few days ago but a suggestion from another company fixed the problem. SO great as long as it works but if there is a problem, or some change in the outlook app or google contacts, then you're unlikely to solve it. If you have a critical dependency on the contacts syncing then find another product that is supported. Sync2 works, with some odd behaviours, but is expensive. But worth it if you need outlook and google sync'd.

Even if the description says that only Outlook 2010 32bits is supported, it seems to works perfectly with the x64 version... Maybe this was implement at some point and the feature list was not updated ?

Good day. Your program don't work with Outlook 2010 x64 SP1. [03.08.2012 20:11:55 | Warning] Error getting available Outlook folders: Невозможно привести COM-объект типа "Microsoft.Office.Interop.Outlook.ApplicationClass" к интерфейсному типу "Microsoft.Office.Interop.Outlook._Application". Операция завершилась со сбоем, поскольку вызов QueryInterface COM-компонента для интерфейса с IID "{00063001-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}" возвратил следующую ошибку: Библиотека не зарегистрирована. very useful program, especially when a lot of people read their emails on smartphones

Works like a dream! I assumed there would be an array of bugs and flaws, but it works like a dream, every time. The interface used is very thorough and understandable. Continues to impress me each time I use it! "The below contact is in Google but not in Outlook Contacts." Options given are then to keep one or the other or merge. Smooth! This program enables me to put a contact in my phone (including notes on how we met!) during a dinner party and start up my computer the next morning to run Sync Mod and the new contact and notes are waiting for me in Outlook. Amazing!

I'm afraid this just doesn't work as it's supposed to. There are dozens of posts reporting the same problem and they are all unanswered. I had the sync direction as Outlook-to-Gmail only. The tool made a great back-up of my Outlook contacts to my Gmail Contacts. But when I delete a contact in Outlook, it creates an error and does not delete it from Gmail. Then I changed the syncing to both ways and this time it knows there is an error but then says the sync direction is one-way only (which it isn't!) and tells you that it won't, after all, delete the contact from Gmail. It seems that the check-boxes have a mind of their own and don't actually set the preferences thay are supposed to set. What are you supposed to do to get support? None of the requests on the support page have been answered.

It's pity that this otherwise GREAT application can't handle (perceived) duplicates, which aren't - as already mentioned by some others. I have all couples registered in Outlook individually, as I want to have their respective birthday recorded as well (to get automatic reminders). They usually share the same phone number, sometimes also the e-Mail address. It would therefore be great if the check logic on duplicates includes also the name!

Very useful free synchronization utility, thanks!

And it's open-source, and free.

when changing a name in google contacts - it doesn't change it in outlook. however the other directions works....

very light and excellent!

I have used this program for and it is great. It is good to have apps available when the computer you are working on doesn't have that type of app installed.

always reliable.

All around wonderful.

Awesome! thank you very much, and thanks for doing it GPL ! Works perfect to sync between Outlook at work <-> Google <-> Android. I used to use android exchange support (Activesync) to synch my phone contacts to my corporate exchange server directly. But having Google in the middle is much better ( I can get the pictures from peoples contacts, I have a backup always available in the cloud, etc). Now I sync my phone contacts with Google, and my Google contacts with Outlook, No matter where I make a change, it works. Thanks!

After installing I received this error message: 4/24/2012 7:38:57 PM Error: The RPC server is unavailable. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800706BA) I needed to restart the application to get by the error. Seems ok for the moment

This app works flawlessly. I sync my Google contacts between my WP7 phone and outlook. The only problem I see is when syncing a new contact created by my phone or Google to Outlook, it gets filed by first name first no matter what I do.

Feature request: I would be very happy if you could make it work with the 64-bit version of Outlook 2010. Thanks STB

I never write reviews, but I'm writing here to hopefully save someone the time and frustration I've been through. I'm running Outlook 2010 and Android 2.3.3. And I have IMAP and Pop3 accounts in Outlook, which causes some sync issues. and to top it off, MS, in their infinite wisdom, made 2010 so that the defualt contacts folder for an IMAP account is actually stored in the Pop3 account contacts. Plus, my IMAP account is a Google Apps account for our business. Anyway, I've tried several different sync apps, all pretty lame. I bought Companion link for $50 a couple of years ago, but then it stopped working because they stopped supporting the version I had... and wanted another $50 to get the upgrade. Dream on, guys. Then last night I tried several... gsyncit, some other one in india, and a few others. So I was almost ready to give up when i tried GO Contact Sync Mod. Amazing, it actually worked. I've tested and re-tested... and when I make a change in any of the 3 locations, Outlook, Google, or Droid... it just works. What a concept!. Really easy to use, too. Great job, guys... and THANK YOU!

Great works ! If you would combine this with a calendar sync app, it would be the greatest!

Worked with ease. Outlook Contacts and Google Contacts settings behave different. I had originally "exported" Outlook in CSV format into Google with somewhat satisfactory results. After some manual adjustments in Google, the sync worked without a problem. Google kinda throws a wrench at everything, even with PDF files- disble "Google PDF" in Chrome (but that is another topic). Very happy to autosync Outlook Contacts and Notes to Google with GO Contact Sync Mod, and Google Calendar Sync with Outlook. Just need to look for a way to sync Outlook To-Do with Google.
