1. Can't handle duplicates. 2. Erroneously detects contacts as being duplicate (for example, if you have two people sharing the same e-mail address) 3. If set to "Merge Prompt" there is no way to keep the a chosen setting for all subsequent prompts 4. Crashes after sync is finished 5. Crashes if sync is cancelled Conclusion: Currently unusable :-(

It worked great for me the first time I used it to push up my existing Outlook contacts to Gmail. I basically wanted to keep a backup of my contacts in the cloud, in case I loose my Outlook file.

I would like it, it works not too bad most time. But sometimes it always deletes some contacts from both outlook and google. You move the deleted contacts again to the contacts, try to sync again, and they are deleted again. WHY ????? And there are some error messages at starting up the computer. I believe in the time when there is no interenet connection set up and the program tries to sync already.

Very good tool. Could be interesting if the user could select the profile to connect in Outlook i.e. if the user has many accounts in Outlook, select which one to synchronize.

Very good tool. Works very well. I hope that you can add the "phonetic" sync next time. Because like we non-English speaker, we use other characters. In order to let the contact in order by the pronunciation, we sometimes add some phonetic to let the client know how to order them. Thank you.

I have been synching my phone with my Outlook with my phone since early 2000 thanks to Nokia PC Suite and I couldn't made the jump to Android until I found GO Contact Sync Mod. Now Desktop (Outlook/Windows) <-> Cloud (Gmail) <-> Phone (Android in my case, but it also applies to iOS, WindowsPhone, even Symbian) live together in sync harmony. I rely on GO Contact Sync Mod for synching Contacts, in Google Calendar Sync for Calendar and Gmail IMAP for Email. My wish for Christmas is that GO Contact Sync supports Office 2010 64-bit. Great work guys!

Great tool! Simply & works well. Also hope that the next updated version will include 2-way sync

It runs very nicely and i rarely have any problems syncing my contacts. Although i do wish it could do a two way copy/syncing as well. There is just one thing i want to ask you guys, in the newer version where does it synces notes in google??????

If you would combine this with a calendar sync app, it would be the greatest!

NO but Yes I want to. Running outlook 2010 and sometimes it runs nicely and most of the time it throws error msgs up. Still not convinced it is working properly on merge function. Still going to keep trying to forge ahead with this and see what happens.

Awesome! I used this app to sync Outlook 2007 to gmail. It was quick and efficient. I couldn't ask for more.

Holy guacomole! This app buzzed through my over 2000 contacts in Outlook and synched with my GMail contacts in no time! The set up was a snap. Can't believe it worked so good first time out of the box!

I want to love this, just not yet. It isn't syncing all my outlook contact addresses to gmail, just about 1/3. Is there a limit to the number that will sync? Is there something special that I need to be aware of to complete the sync?

Synchronizing my local outlook with my GMail contacts is now possible! Now the Android can be used effectively. Tested several sync trials and it has worked every time, with 200+ contacts it is fast too! I hope development/support continues on this project as it fills a much needed gap for Android users

I have tried numerous products and this is the only one that works properly so far. I have 3 places where I store my contacts: Outlook 2003, GMail and my cell phone. I just upgraded from a windows mobile cell to a Motorola Atrix (Android) and had a hard time getting properly sync'd between the cell and Outlook. Then I tried to sync Outlook to GMail and like I said, most of the products I tried had problems, until I came across GO Contact Sync Mod. It works great so far and everything comes across properly, including the pictures I already had on outlook for the contacts. Now I enter the details into outlook and add the picture using the camera on the cell after. GMail and the cell automatically sync, and this products completes the loop between GMail and Outlook. Can't be happier. Thanks a million for a great products. Sometimes, the best things in life is free!

Un grand merci pour ce super projet ! :) Ca marche impeccable chez moi. (Outlook 2007 - sous xp). ~ 600 contacts, synchronisés avec tous ces détails en 5'. Quelques "catégories de contacts" ne sont pas passées mais ça doit être une erreur de ma part. The only free tool I could find to do Exchange/Google contact sync properly. Works really well for my needs with latest changes.

Worked very well with Outlook 2003 on Windows XP. Thanks so much for bringing this project back.

Works Great with and without Proxy, 32 and 64 bit Windows and Outlook! Excellent enhancements to the obviously dead project it was forked from ("GO conact Sync" without Mod). Much more stable since Migration to google API V3.0. Best Tool I Found for syncing google contacts and notes with Outlook!

Fills an important gap in the android-google information ecosystem. It is very usable by now.

Worked for me on Win XP and office 2007. Only tool I found so fare, great job

Doesn't appear to work if you're using a proxy or behind firewall.
