Capabilities are great and easy to use once you know how! 3D surface plots with just points or with line meshes which can optionally be colorized by level and for which hidden lines can optionally be removed, contour plots that can be color coded by level, heat color images with user defined color palettes, 2D and 3D parametric curves, ..., I use the scripting capability in Ubuntu WSL2 and in Windows 11 using the system command in C++. Windows 11 executables can be built in Ubuntu WSL2 using x86_64-w64-mingw32-g++ as well as by using Visual Studio 2022. Gnuplot was installed in Ubuntu WSL2 by doing sudo apt-get install gnuplot. Gnuplot was installed as a Windows 11 executable by downloading gp603-win64 -mingw.exe from this project. Go to Files > gnuplot>6.03. This let me put the Gnuplot folder on the C drive with the gnuplot executable at C:/Gnuplot/bin/gnuplot.exe. It took some searching online to find out how to do all that I needed and there were things, like when to use single or double quotes or not, that were discovered by experimentation.

Can this software plot 3d geometry like the steradian? So far I have not succeeded at this, I would really like to play with 3d geometry, finite element analysis, shading, projection, and similar topics in math with this program or is there something better to use?

The file never downloads. the requests wait and wait and then timeouts. wtf
