See Your Business Operations in a Whole New Light With ConnectWise Manage

The more systems you use to manage your TSP, the harder it is to run it smoothly. Key insight is missing, teams can’t communicate, and revenue falls through the cracks. That’s not a recipe for success in our book, or any for that matter. That’s where ConnectWise Manage comes in to save the day. Our award-winning PSA brings your entire TSP together into a single solution to give you a bird’s eye view of everything, so your operations never miss a beat.

  • On a MacBook Pro running Mavericks, this filesystem is too slow to be usable. It is also very "jerky", and even hangs for up to a minute at a time in the middle of a simple filename completion operation. Somebody is simply wasting a lot of other people's time making them suffer while coming to these obvious conclusions!
  • Thanks for Fuse-ext2, it's wonderful!
  • fuse-ext2 works but is very slow (I get some 7 MB/s reading and 1 MB/s writing via USB 2.0). If you have the choice, better use Apple's HFS+ on the external drive, which is much faster (I get some 30 MB/s both reading and writing, both on Mac and Linux). HFS+ is supported by Linux mostly out-of-the-box. To get write access even to a journaled partition on Ubuntu, install support via 'sudo apt-get install hfsprogs' and when the drive is mounted (e.g., automatically), re-mount it writable using 'sudo mount -o remount, force,rw /mount/point'
