FLUX 3 Image Klein Base is Black Forest Labs' 5.6B-parameter open-weight image generation and editing model, designed for fine-tuning, LoRA training, and research. Its undistilled image transformer supports text-to-image generation, single-image editing, and multi-reference composition using up to 10 reference images. A separate Qwen3-VL-4B-Instruct text encoder interprets detailed scene descriptions, while bounding-box controls allow users to guide object placement, scale, and composition. The model also supports text rendering within generated images. Unlike the distilled FLUX 3 Image Klein release, this base checkpoint uses approximately 50 inference steps with guidance and is optimized for customization rather than rapid generation. BF16, FP8, and NVFP4 variants are available, with integration through Hugging Face Diffusers and Black Forest Labs' reference implementation.
