Filee is a free, open-source file converter for Windows, macOS and Linux. Hold a key while dragging files and a ring of presets (the donut) appears at the cursor: drop the files on one and they're converted on your own PC. Nothing is uploaded.
It handles 263 formats: pictures, PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Korean HWP/HWPX, Chinese OFD, video, audio, e-books, archives, CAD drawings, 3D models, maps and more. The engines it needs come bundled or are downloaded on demand from their official sources.
Presets can resize and compress, add a watermark, page numbers or a password to PDFs, remove metadata, fit a file under a size limit for email or chat, and replace the original. Watch folders convert new files on their own, and a "filee" command does the same from scripts.
The interface speaks 16 languages. MIT licensed; Windows releases are code-signed.
