E-MailRelay is a simple SMTP proxy and relay MTA, written in C++, for Linux and Windows. As a proxy all messages can be passed through a user-defined program, such as a spam-filter, which can drop, readdress, or edit messages as they pass through.

This was the simple solution I was looking for! For quite a while now the "Scan to Email" option on my multifunction printer has not been operational. This started when my ISP decided (appropriately) that all SMTP must use SSL or TLS connections, which my legacy Xerox 6015 does not support. I looked for workarounds but could not find one, until now. E-MailRelay was super easy to set up and get functioning. The one minor issue is that during initial install, while "--forward-to=" was configured correctly, neither "--forward" nor "--forward-on-disconnect" were enabled so while the spool received the email successfully from the printer it never relayed that to the destination server. I added both of those options to the .bat file for the service start and restarted the service and the spool was processed successfully! Everything is working as expected! Thank you!

Mailrelay is the most optimal newsletter distribution system for www.hecmo.com. It's easy to operate and it's constantly updated, effortlessly improving your productivity and performance. The new features are very useful and easy to use - it takes only few minutes to create a stylish A/B and test it. We choose to use Mailrelay because of the great balance of features and the reasonable pricing. Also, we are very satisfied with the response from the support team - it seems that the company has the same values as us, and puts the customer above all else.
