Dear Maker, can you please tell me that why the DXF file I import gets scaled by 10 times than of the original size? also the object in the gcode never appears in pronterface but opens in online gcode viewer where I noticed that the object is out of the work area and is way bigger in dimensions. I've seen few people using DFX2Gcode for making vinyl stickers using 3d printer and decided to give it a go but after tweaking with the parameters for a week I finally gave up and I am really disappointed that I can not use such a great software.

Hi - I have been using dxf2gcode for several months now and I am really glad I found this little jewel. I have a demand for those who wrote this code: - Would it be possible to have the default units (mm or inches) in the options ? I work in mm but at the onset the software defaults to inches. - The software inserts an M5 between shapes, just to turn the spindle back on two lines further down. Yet the M5 turns my frequency converter off. Till now I have been editing the G-code to remove the M5s but I was wondering if the M5s were a "must have" or just there for no real purpose (the spindle being definitively turned off at the end of the program). Maybe I am missing something but why is everything still in mm's after setting everything to inches ?

I have been using this software for many years in combination with Librecad and an X-Carve CNC. Glad to see the program is still being maintained in 2020. I never found another free program that is solely aimed at converting dxf to gcode and works this good and easy. Thank you!

will not work . just says it has stopped working

Everyone swears by this program but we have yet to get past the "PSTOEDIT" error. Has not been of any use to us. Not looking to become a rocket scientist to use my CNC Router, let alone this app. Could certainly use better explanation about this configuring it claims I need to do but have Y-E-T to be able to figure out "what" configuration it is talking about.... This has been a total waste of time and energy....

This is the best DXF to GCode software I have used. I thoroughly recommend this program, and it works very well with Mach3. If I have any comments it's 'Add a text description field for the tools database', it's difficult to remember the tools by number alone. Well done christi_ko, good job.

Simple to use, powerful options for gcode generation

Nice and relatively easy to use. I am using it for more than 1 year in cooperation with linuxCNC (machinekit project)

Fantastic job, well done. I have used this utility many times over the past year and am very thankful for your time, effort and skill putting this together and making it available for others to use. I have never required support so I can't really give it an honest rating, but as I am sure you would provide first class service (for free!) I shall give it five stars.
