Hi, I'm really interested in your project because I saw it as a suggestion to resolving childform docking problems. I downloaded the exe and that runs fine, but when I downloaded the code I am not able to get it up and running in VS 2015? This is strange because I see another comment where someone has it running in VS 2015? I extracted the files and received a message that the file was read only. Copied the files to a new/empty folder and the icon changed, but when I try to run the .sln either double clicking the icon or running it from within VS 2015, only the Properties opens? Also, a migration notification opens in my browser? Do you have any suggestions?

VisualStudio 2015 Community opens the DockPanel project and automatically converts it to latest format. There is warnings but no error. After this, the whole DockPanel project compiled and built OK. The demo runs perfectly. I have been searching an elegant way of allowing user to arrange panes by drag and drop (Visual Studio style). My efforts had been on and off over an extended period of time. Finally via a StackOverflow posting DockPanel is found. Of all the solutions, DockPanel is best fit for me, and it worked with latest built tool (VS 2015). DockPanel project is built, I beleive, using VS 2005 and .NET Framework 2.0. This compiled and run successfully. I then change to .NET 4.5.2 for both the dll and the demo. This rebuilt and run without issue. To download the complete source, click the "Code" tap on the right near the top of this page. Find the "Download Snapshot" button. Click this button and observe your web browser will begin downloading. This gives the "trunk" copy of the whole DockPanel code project. After downloading has completed, unzip the file. Open the solution .sln file in Visual Studio. It works on my computer which is Windows 10 (64-bit), Firefox browser, Visual Studio Community 2015, Intel Core i3.

Very useful for my project. Telerik and DevXpress stuff are out of my student budget. Thanks so much for sharing this.
