DarGUI is a front end to the Disk ARchive (Dar) program for Linux and Windows (64 bit). It provides a simple way to create and restore backup archives in Dar format.
DarGUI is written in Pascal using FreePascal and the Lazarus IDE.

  • It does not work, it asks to specify the dar executable, but even if it is specified by version 2.5.5. It is much easier to integrate the program, why install the archiver and the graphical interface to it separately? This is stupid, only a schoolboy could think of such a thing. I also want to say that it is extremely difficult to find an example of a dar file to verify its performance.

  • Great GUI for dar, my choice for backups. BTW, it is created with FPC/LAZARUS!

  • Easy to use backup software for home computers. All you need is for example an USB drive.
