README.Alpha Currently we are building an image to throw away. The goal of alpha is to have most of the pieces in a readonly-fs-based image that will boot in Linux using something like qemu or kexec. alpha-07: doc sync release (tarball includes all needed to create alpha image) alpha-06: instructions and rc files for creating user space in tmpfs alpha-05: instructions and files for moving 04 to readonly root fs alpha-04: instructions and files for moving 03 to transitional fs alpha-03: instructions and files for building standard Slackware alpha image alpha-02: ~130Mb initrd-style BusyBox-based Slackware image alpha-01: ~47Mb initrd-style BusyBox-based Slackware image See release dir READMEs and the ChangeLog on cheixusb.sf.net for actual status of the project. evsiz_at_this-voice_dot_org
