Cheix Longlife USB is a complete console-based USB image
designed to preserve the USB.  Root filesystem is mounted
readonly.  All system writes take place in /var in tmpfs.
The pkgwrapper remounts / in read-write for package 
management.  All user writes are restricted to intentional
writes to the /home partition.
