ARK-näppäimistö is a Finnish-language Android keyboard that learns the words you use and predicts the next word. Learning and suggestions stay entirely on the device; the app has no analytics and no ads, and nothing is learned in password fields.
Five to eight suggestions appear in a scrollable row and a long press on a key opens a character menu. The keyboard also offers an on-device translation view, voice typing with the device's speech recognition, a clipboard with pinnable clips, emojis, a cursor mode, a customisable toolbar and password autofill from the suggestion row. Learned words move to another device with a backup.
The base word list comes from the Institute for the Languages of Finland (Kotus), licensed under CC BY 4.0.
