Anytxt Searcher is an offline, cross-platform full-text search tool for your computer. Search inside Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, PDFs and other files on Windows, Linux and macOS, without opening each file. As an alternative to Google Desktop Search, it helps you find files by their contents, even when you cannot remember their names.

Built-in text extraction, OCR and fast indexing make text in documents, images and scanned PDFs searchable. Your searches run locally, without an internet connection.

Standalone: unzip and run Anytxt. No installation or admin required.
