Z-Push 2.2.4 RowCmp "Fix"
Brought to you by:

I am currently in the Progress of deploying a new Zimbra/Z-Push installations and noticed that Zarafa did it's ToDo and removed the RowCmp function (in z-push/lib/default/diffbackend/diffstate.php) in Version 2.2.4
So...
Just for the record and piece of mind
I suppose the RowCmp "fix" is now oppsolete?
Or is ZZB 63 going to explode running Z-Push 2.2.4?
Thanks
Cheers
With Release 63 you should be fine. I was aware of the change in advance, and added code to handle it. That said, I also need to update the Release Notes to mention the RowCmp fix will no longer be relevant/needed from z-push 2.2.4 onwards. A the time of releasing backend 63 - the decision on what z-push release the change would arrive before release 2.3 had not been fnalized.
From the backend Release Notes for Release 63...
Check for existence of DiffState::RowCmp before calling it
==========================================================
Check for existence of DiffState::RowCmp before calling it as an upcoming change in z-push
is going to remove that function. For now it is necessary to maintain the check in case
users are running the latest zimbra backend with older z-push versions
Alrightythen
I noticed the Release Notes and didn't see any errors in z-push.log during auth, was just asking out of coriousity
Can be closed
Thanks

Closing ticket as Release 63 is now available
