I'd like to be able to do the flashcards without
using the mouse.
Also, I'd like to be able to do flashcards without
using a keyboard (but not at the same time as no
mouse <ha ha>)
My reasoning is this:
a) No mouse: keyboards are much faster, especially if
I'm typing answers, etc. So, I don't want to take
hand away from keyboard.
b) If I'm using zdt on my tablet pc, then I want to
be able to "submit" the answer without pressing
Enter. So, I need a button to click with the pen.
Your response was: "This is talking about the
definition test right? How about
using '1', '2', '3', '4' to select a choice and
either space, tab, or enter to move to the next card?

I think it is easier to use standard control keys.
So, if you had a "Next" button, for example, then the
UNDERLINED 'N' in "Next" would be a tip off that the
user could press the "N" key (or control-N for
Windows), etc. Not sure what happens in Linux for
these things.
1,2,3,4 are OK, if you show these in a "standard"
way.
Perhaps:
(o) 1) Answer text here
(o) 2) No, my answer is better
etc.
I would not use a space, tab, etc. because you can't
show these visibly on the screen as "hints".
You can certainly KEEP the existing enter key, but I
would start marking the NEXT button as the default
entry button (according to CUA conventions), by
putting a dark border around it. I don't recall the
specific Java code to do this off the top of my head,
but it's something like "make default", etc.

Yes, I would also find this feature to be very useful. For
some reason it seems to be a rare thing in the Chinese
Flashcard programs out there (except Wenlin), but it makes
flying through the cards so much faster !

You can now use keyboard to navigate flashcards in 0.4.8.
Although not implemented exactly as above.
