I was able to configure two ramdisks (V and R), with "V" having more memory. I then set the temp variable use to CHECKED on "V". Then, I went back into the program and selected "R". I had to change the memory amount back to a previous value, because it was keeping the value for V. I also unchecked the "Temp" checkbox, since I only wanted Windows 11 temp variables in one location... Now, neither ramdisk has a temp folder? The ramdisk sizes DID remain different after a reboot, however, but neither...

I use "Desktop Restore" from Midi-Ox for saving and restoring the position of all icons on the desktop. It's very small and works great. Great complimentary program to Dual Monitor.
Thanks for your reply and your time!
Thanks. I currently run two separate monitors on my desktop, and also I have a laptop.
The "rescan" would add new items and mark them "not yet viewed" (NYV) in the database? Second, perhaps a way to re-randomize the NYV portion. (Not important, but after adding new items, they would always be at the end of the NYV portion otherwise.) How would you handle the same file name in different locations? It doesn't necessarily follow that same file name means the same image, unfortunately. (This is just from downloading from multiple sources, not my own renaming.) These are just ideas. Anything...
Currently, I have about 6000+ images spread across 5 folders. I have two monitors, and each monitor changes wallpaper every two hours independently. Computer runs for about 12-16 hours per day. Still hoping my original "ideas" might be implemented.
I also would love to see WC keep track of what's already been shown, and continue with "new" wallpapers. It could save a list to disk, randomized, of course, and then update that list whenever new files/pictures were detected in the local source directories. That doesn't solve the issue of what comes up each day/time from external sources, however... Keeping that list locally would also allow WC to set the displayed images immediately upon reboot from whatever was last chosen. I have multiple displays...
