After several tests, I have concluded that running
yics 0.1.2, my CPU usage( I am running a dual athlon
2.13 Ghz each with 512 MB of ram) increases between 25
to 30 %, while with ytoics it is berely noticible.

I never tried the older versions of yics and can't
tell how much cpu usage was consume before.

Probably there was an improvement with the newest
version, but still 20% is a lot( I think).

Anyway, thanks in advance if you look for a solution
to this matter.

This is a known issue. Unfortunately I have lost contact
with the Windows developer, so fixing this issue may require
a bit of time.

The issue has been fixed in CVS. I expect to make another
release soon specifically because of this issue.
