Again, I don't see the behaviour you're describing, which does suggest that your system suffers a limitation that mine doesn't. The bottom line is that jack gives the app roughly 5.33msec to generate and deliver a buffer full of audio. If the app takes longer than that to generate and deliver, jack kicks it out of the graph. My system makes it in time, yours doesn't :-). You could possibly improve the robustness by adding a timeout setting (-t xxxx) to your jack start command. If it's just the loading of instruments that's causing you grief, that might help. cheers. |
