When I load my session with Ardour 4.2, I have troubles using Yoshimi LV2 - it crashes Ardour. When using previous version of Ardour (4.1) I have only a small issue with Yoshimi: it forgets chosen sound bank when I use transport controls, though when I use loop play mode it runs rather good.
I included 2 backtraces:
1) ardour + yoshimi alone
2) the session with other plugins.
Yoshimi crashes when I try to change sound bank.
Very strange.
Which version of Yoshimi are you using?
Also, do you get the same problem if you use Yoshimi an an external synth with Ardour?
Another thought does the crash happen only when you try to do a bank change. Does it also fail on program change, or when just playing.

Just compiled and ran Ardour 4.2 and am unable to duplicate problem. This is on a dual core 64 bit Intel machine running debian jessie.
Please give full details of your setup.

OK, I've seen this now, and consistently. I've no idea why I wasn't seeing it before :(
Investigating!
Hmm, I wasn't seeing the problem earlier because I thought I had V 4.2 when I actually had 4.0!
Anyway, we know exactly what the problem is. There is a partial fix in the master branch (stops the crash but gives envelope timing issues). We are working on getting the whole thing sorted.
This is now fixed in version 1.3.6, and unless anyone has any further problems this will be closed soon.
