    Hi

I have tried to connect to APRS-IS without any success. I hava all the settings as in Xastir and other programs, but the IP symbol is black and there is no packets in raw packet window.

I have tried most servers, but there is no data traveling, but in other programs, like pinpoint it works well

    This is from the log:

    Tue Jul 09 12:14:09 GMT 2019: attempt#2 opening socket to APRS-IS server euro.aprs2.net/89.185.8.55:14580
    old socket rcvBuf=43690
    updated socket rcvBuf=49152
    Tue Jul 09 12:14:09 GMT 2019: opening euro.aprs2.net:14580 with filter " filter m/500"
    aprsc 2.1.4-g408ed49
    logresp TF1MT-0 verified, server T2UKRAINE

I'm connected to microsat WX3in1 mini with KISS over TCP one way, and it is working. But not APRS-IS

I have version build 140 Beta.

    Best Regards

OK, a couple of possibilities here.

    1. Do you have your position beacon configured in YAAC?
    2. Is your APRS-IS port configured with your passcode and set up for transmitting to the APRS-IS backbone?

If you don't meet both of these requirements, the filter expression you specified will mean nothing. The "m/500" filter you specified means to send traffic from stations and objects within 500 kilometers of your station's reported position. If you are not sending position beacons to the APRS-IS server, then it will have no position to calculate a 500-km circle around.

You might want to switch to a "r/lat/lon/500" filter expression instead; then you don't need to send data to the APRS-IS to receive something back.

Thanks. This was just that I had not sent beacon :/
      Now it is working.
Sometimes things are to simple, to see the obvius.
Thanks a lot for the help
