Reproduction Steps:

  1. Download YPOPs 0.8.4 for Windows as limited user
(not member of local administrators group)
  2. Install as administrator
  3. Put file in C:\ or other directory that
    administrator account can read
  4. Right-click file and choose "run as"
  5. Select the local administrator account and enter
    its password
  6. After installation is complete, launch as limited
user (choose it from the start menu)

OBSERVED: Crash (see attached crash dump). If I
launch as administrator, it works

EXPECTED: Launch as limited user without a crash, and
write data to per-user directories & hives rather than
systemwide directories & hives (e.g. program files)

    Experinced same problem.
Fixed by modifying folder permissions on YPops directory.
Give either the specific user or the Users group modify rights.

This is not a ypops bug. rudd_j has given the correct fix
for anyone wishing to run with limited account.
    Closing.
