Telnet with YAT

Hi Ralph,
YAT is "optimized for simple command sets of e.g. embedded systems", not terminal emulation. It is possible to open a YAT terminal as TCP/IP client on port 23 and then send and receive telnet commands. YAT is also capable of executing backspace or tabs. But YAT will not execute the functions specified in the dozens of RFCs for telnet, e.g. changing the window size or perform an authentication sequence. For that, rather go for PuTTY, Tera Term, SecureCRT or the like.
Best regards,
Matthias
