How can I tell Xuse to use a default dictionary stored
in a location different from "~./xuse/resources"?

    Hi Volker,

The $USER_HOME/.xuse directory is the working directory for
Xuse (I am sure I could make this configurable, however it
    is not as yet).

What is it you are trying to do? If you want to override
some of the "out-of-the-box" dictionary settings you can use
edit "user-dictionary.xml" which you should find under the
    folder:

    PROJECT_HOME/src/resources

If you have any translations (German?) of the English text
that you would like to offer to the Xuse project that would
    be great

The working directiry of xuse can now be controlled via the xuse.properties file by setting the xuse.home property

    Hi Mike,

since version 00.02.RC2 does not seem to ship or generate a xuse.properties file I created one manually and it works fine.

However, it does not solve the problem I was actually trying to address, that is, getting Xuse to work on Windows out of a folder that contains spaces in the path name. For example, I created a folder on my desktop, hence its path beginning with "C:\Documents and Settings\...". Now when I run Xuse a BuildException occurs that I believe is related with the fact there are spaces in the path name (see attached file).

A straightforward workaround is to make sure to use a folder that does not have spaces in the path name and that's totally fine for the time being. But I expect user acceptance would be much higher if one can run Xuse from any folder.

Keep up the good work - I feel Xuse will become a really useful tool soon.

    Hi Volker,

I have created a bug (https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1599150&group_id=154928&atid=793759) to track the defect you have encountered when the xuse project was run from a folder with spaces in the path (although the stack trace I got differed a little from yours?).
