Hi, I have got a quite simple problem with XQF at the moment. It does not show the gamecolors. eg. for Enemy Territory and Enemy Territory Quakewars. a screenshot can be found here: http://images.voric.com/files/xqf-screen_0r72y.png as you can see it prints both server- and playernames with colortags (^w for white, ^1 for red etc.) but does not replace them with colored text. I had no luck with the faq, the forum (which seems to be broken) and google search so I hope to find some advice here. I'm running ubuntu 7.10 and tried a few things by myself: - install xqf from the repository (that version is quite old and does not support ETQW, but it looks the same for ET as in the screenshot above) - compile and install xqf from sourcecode -> link: https://xqf.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/xqf/trunk/xqf that version in combination with qstat from sourcecode (here: https://qstat.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/qstat/trunk/qstat2) supports ETQW and ET but shows the mentioned problem. - run xqf with --debug 3 but I didn't see anything unusual (like errors, as far as I can tell) refreshing servers looks like that: "debug(3): start_qstat() -- Job 864b148 EXEC> qstat -errors -cfg /usr/local/share/xqf/qstat.cfg -maxsimultaneous 20 -retry 3 -raw -R -P -carets -etqws 82.96.64.145:27788" it opens qstat with -carets and thus fetches the colorcodes (that's why I think it should color them in the gui). is it intended or not and what may I do to change it? thanks in advance and greetings, david -- GMX startet ShortView.de.
