E.g., if you try to println() a float or a double, Harmony ends up in native method org_apache_harmony_luni_util_NumberConverter_bigIntDigitGeneratorInstImpl() That needs to be implemented in xmlvm/src/xmlvm2c/lib/native. Patches for missing native methods are certainly more than welcome! You can use this for iOS as well, although there are similar limitations. In this case, there are still some implementations of Cocoa wrappers missing (in xmlvm/src/xmlvm2c/compat-lib/iphone). Our internal XMLVM iPhone demos can already be cross-compiled to C (plus the dependent Harmony classes), but again, some work remains and patches are welcome. Arno |
