The major problem is Eclipse 3.0 doesnt bundle Xerces
plugin anymore. We need to remove the dependence
from the plugin.xml.
(**** Read through the whole notes, before you start
***)
Notice:
1. Do NOT start Eclipse until you finish the described
steps. Because once Eclipse cant load the plugin, it
wont try that again in this build.
2. If you make this mistake already, try to stop Eclipse,
rename the org.xmen_0.4.2.3 directory to something like
org.xmen_0.4.2.3_new. Start Eclipse again.
3. This is temporary fix only, some features in XMEN may
not work.
Steps:
1. Download and Install Eclipse 3.0 RC2
2. Download and Install emf-sdo-xsd-SDK
3. Download and Install XMEN 0.4.2.3
4. Rename the file eclipse\plugins\org.xmen_0.4.2.3
\plugin.xml to plugin.xml.org
5. Copy the attached file to
eclipse\plugins\org.xmen_0.4.2.3
Hope this help

I`ve not downloaded emf-sdo-xsd-sdk but runtime versions and
everything is fine. Thanks for the bugfixing.
But I`ve seen one more problem, which I do not realize before:
If there is an apostroph in the comment the rest will also
be commented.
Is this a known false behaviour or bug?

This may seem pretty obvious, but I just copied the xerces
plugin from Eclipse 2.1.1 and everything worked ok. I did
not had to delete or rename the X-Men plugin directory, it
simply worked after I installed the xerces plug-in.

If you have started eclipse 3 with the wrong plugin.xml, you
can also use the -clean option with eclipse to force it to
re-detect the x-men plugin without renaming the directory.
