Hello,
I am trying to get xine to play DVDs on Sony Vaio PCG-9516 laptop,
using Intel 815 video card. Play using xshm driver works fine, but the
video quality is pretty bad because of dropped frames. When I try to
use the XV driver, I get a blue square that covers 2/3 of the picture.
I already read the docs and put XaaNoOffscreenPixmaps into the config
file. I also tried Option "OverlayMem" "829440" which was suggested
elsewhere as a cure for problems with Intel 815, with no results. I am
using
Suse 10.2 with all latest updates,

I don't see any error messages from Xine, except about dropped frames
