[xine-user] Xv output weirdness

I have xine installed on both my desktop and laptop.
It works great on my desktop, but I have a problem on the laptop.
When I play e.g. a dvd with the Xv driver the screen looks as it is divided 
into three "blinds", the movie plays and the sound is working.
It works with the XShm driver with a skip or so every second.

Any suggestions?

I have a compaq presario 1600 with a cyberblade 1d and 500MHz CPU.
Xine compiled from source running on Mandrake 8.0
