New XCSoar/Dell Streak user here, so my apology if this was already discussed. I posted the same to the forum but got no replies so not sure which discussion channel is preferred. After 10+ years with iPaq running winpilot I finally made the leap to Dell Streak running XCSoar. I have almost all the pieces I need for my system: 302 Streak + XCSoar cradle K6BT What I still need is the DB9 to RJ45 cable to connect my 302 to the K6BT and power it, and another RJ45 to USB female to pass through the 5 v to the Streak. I am trying to avoid paying $50-$75 to soaring supply cables when those cables are available for few bucks in Amazon, but there are so many possibilities it is rather confusing. I think I figured out the 302 to k6Bt solution, but not the K6bt to USB. I would like to hear from Streak/302/K6bt users which cables they purchased and where. Hopefully without having to build my own cable, but this is also an option. Also, after reading the manual, playing with XCSoar in simulator mode, as well as flying with it, I have few more questions and comments regarding some basic functionality which seems to be missing or not working as expected. What is the best way to address those questions? Should I just open a ticket for each bug/enhancement? Thanks, Ramy |
