#91 Can't get merged changes back into Excel format.

WinMerge 2.12.4.0, XP Home Edition

I am new to Winmerge, but I do like the idea of being able to compare my excel files and merging the changes. My dilemma now is how do I get the new version back into the Excel format? I think it might have something to do with plug-ins that I am not using, but before I continue to hit my head against the wall, I need the pros (you all's) help. I think what I'm wanting to do is possible isn't it.
Your help will be greatly appreciated.

with the plugin we can compare the files, but vwe cannot merge and store to a excel format. Only store as '*.csv' is possible.
