#746 Different/Identical binary files - proposed different msg

Hi,

Thanks for your wonderful and free product! It is very
helpful when i am comparing config files for different
software versions.

My feature request:

In the folder comparison view change the string "Binary
files are different/identical" to "Different (binary)"
and "Identical (binary)". Rationale: The important
thing should be put first, and the important thing is
usually than the files are different or identical.
Also, rename "Files are different" to simply "Different".

Good point.

BTW, there are columnns for "Short result" and "Binary"
status. Short result column says if files are
identical/different and Binary column shows asterisk if file
is binary file.

Actually I've been wondering for a long time if we should
change those two columns as a default, instead of that long
results column. That would help new users atleast.

WinMerge 2.8.0 shows binary files in file compare, and there is no this message anymore.

So closing as out of date.
