Hello,
Many times I use WinMerge to copy some changes from one file or folder tree to another. Sometimes I get confused and change the wrong file, instead of the left file I change the right one. If your program will have read-only checkboxes at all levels (folder tree/file) to prevent changes to one/two or all or sides of the WinMerge window/panels.
